Week 1 | Jedda | “Leisure Reading”

So I think I did the complete opposite of what Ellen did… which was start this project off with a bang. I have a lot of great ideas for this project but this week just wasn’t the right week for it. My personal theme for this week was to find a place on campus that I wish I spent more time in and depict that in my photograph. I wanted to showcase the one place where I wanted to be and how barely anyone actually takes advantage of this place. In college, there’s no such thing as “leisure reading” anymore… because people are too busy worrying about getting by or too busy partying… if I could have it my way, I just want to be able to sit down in that comfy chair, and read, read, read.  

Hey Ellen, I think we have different visions for this project but I think it’ll work out well. We’ll just shoot our personal themes weekly and go with the flow that way. I hope that that’s OK with you! -J
